There are bad people. Bad cops. Bad football players. Bad teachers. Bad politician. Bad soldiers. Bad blacks. Bad whites. Bad Asians. Bad people in all walks of life.
True examples of white police killing blacks for no reason are rare. That's what makes them so shocking and it can spend so much time in the media. Don't give me the crap about "nobody cares". That's utter bullshit. In the rush to get the story out, many times the circumstances of shootings never get talked about. And the media has taught us not to believe cops or that these horrible things are done because of race. Like the poor EMT that was killed in a raid on her home. It was poor police policy, but the media adds it in to the "innocent blacks killed by cops". There's more to the story than suggesting the cops ran into her room while she was sleeping and shot her because she was black. Not one news outlet will mention that the police shot after they were shot at. Again, a horrible mistake by the police (mainly the Intel they were given), but this is one of many examples of "racist cops shooting an unarmed black".
Statistically, a child is many more times likely to be sexually abused by a teacher by the time they graduate than for an unarmed black person to be shot by a cop...but we would never say there's a"systemic" problem with teachers....because we know it's the few bad that make everyone look bad and get the headlines.
And you can say everyone agrees that not all cops are bad....but the signs and slogans being used say otherwise.
