show the Olympic sports in addition to football and basketball. The writer either left out the money from conference networks/Tv money overall or doesn’t know. The conference suggested would not make the same money from tv and have no conference networks.
Additionally, it is convenient that he left out that Md choose to go to the BIG because they couldn’t manage their AD money and were in severe debt. That is Md’s fault for leaving a conference that they could have bussed to uva, VT, and Pitt if they wanted.

I bet that GT would fly to Md these days. That is a long bus ride.
