Heller thunderstorms in the area last night. We just got a sprinkle...


across the hill a couple of miles away at Hungry Mother Park they got hammered.

Hungry Mother creek out of it's banks, flash flooding, the lake way above full pond, the spillway full, mud and debris in the lake and Rt 16 blocked due to a mudslide about ½ way between Marion and the park.

The spillway is normally a trickle. I don't know if I've ever seen it roaring like that.

The water above the lifeguard stands...the beach extends at least 50' below the stands.

The diving platform for the hell of it.
