I guess the author should have read the series in the Daily News

Record (H'burg's local paper) a few summers ago (maybe 5 years now) where a reporter did an in depth interview of JMU's President and AD. The interviews were broken out into 3-5 articles and basically gave the locals the current landscape of JMU athletics as well as JMU's plans for the future. Otherwise, the author wouldn't look like an idiot for randomly throwing names out there and hoping something sticks to the wall.

As far as Liberty goes, they don't seem like a good fit for the conference. Then again, Liberty might go for it if it means getting a Texas-like deal in the network contracts. I think BYU may have something similar going on with the West Coast Conference.
