Article author probably throwing out a familiar name

Liberty can make sense from their geography and current program stature. But I don't think this is their goal.
Liberty wants to be the national university for Evangelicals, like ND is for Catholics and BYU is for Mormons.
They can fund raise on a national scale, blowing all other G5 out if the water.
I just don't see Liberty as a fit with a bunch of second tier state schools.
