Of course I want VT to be 1st, but I don't mind 3rd in ACC...

given we are still top 10 material nationally. IMO having 3/4 Top 10 teams in the ACC is a VERY good thing. Elevates the sport, provides Big10 competition, and makes VT work harder.

It also means the conference duals and ACCT is higher quality viewing. Long term VT will not advance if we are cutting through the ACC and then making the occasional splash in the NCAAT. Long term we are better served by being in a extremely competitive conference and then leveraging the SERTC to attract elite talent.
