We have brought in multiple players at key positions that are stronger recruits than the high school recruits that are used to determine rankings for teams. Huffman at G/C and 4 running backs, another receiver who is tall snd the QB from Oregon who was a 4 star out of HS. Every one of these guys are physically ready to contribute and play this year. You can’t say the same about many kids coming from high school regardless of their star value. Tyrod Taylor and Devin Hunter are our last 5 star recruits. TT struggled his first year and was benched during our Orange Bowl game vs Kansas. We are still waiting on Hunter.

Recruiting has struggled and Fuente has tried keeping most of Buds coaches. But now he has pulled the plug and turned over many of those coaches. And with an eye towards recruiting. He’s changing with the times so I believe in giving him a chance. A much better route than throwing the entire staff out and finding a new coach.
