A Panel of P5 College Baseball Coaches assembled together during the COVID-19 situation, and now they are proposing a new model for College Baseball. They basically want to push the College Baseball Season back a month to start late March and have the CWS in July instead of June.

I've been a advocate for this for a while because it enables more participating for Northern Schools who cannot have games in February/March at home and must travel for them. It would create more interest in the north. Pushing it back opens them up to embrace baseball more. Plus now with Conference TV networks needing summer content, well here you go with May/June content.

This is not adopted, but I'm glad they are thinking it. I also think they can push basketball season back a month into April to get more separation from football in Nov/Dec. This hasn't been proposed, but it would help too IMO.
