just because a show is now "streaming" and not bound by FCC rules for network TV, the writers are like kids that have been given the green light. Watching the Expanse and I swear sometimes it's like their giving Samuel L. Jackson a run for his money on how many F bombs they can drop in a show. I mean, I have dropped quite a few bad words in my day, but it's almost silly how many times they use them. Seriously, I know I haven't lived a sheltered life, but does everyone talk like this every day? And it's every show. I would like to watch some shows with my 11 year old, but I don't want to be watching a good show only to have her listen to someone say F*%# you motherf#*$. Every 5 minutes...or to be surprised when they randomly insert a sex scene...just because.
Honestly, it doesn't add to the show/movie. We watched all the Star Wars movies over the last two weeks, and other than a random "damn" or "Hell", it is a great series, but try finding something else to watch with her that doesn't have over the top language or a chick riding a dude with her boobies bouncing... is not easy. Hell, I can't even watch a lot of these shows when she's in the room....much less watch them with her.
Ok. Rant over. She's in bed now so we can watch the rest of The Expanse.
