Arguably ECU and Tech were very comparable programs at the time the Big East Football Conference was formed. Hard to imagine how things may have turned out for us if we didn't have access to that opportunity -- and frankly I prefer not to think too much about it.

But it is compelling to wonder about what East Carolina could have done with a shot at similar resources and exposure.
