Lucas is a bruiser, no doubt. A physical specimen. But as an observer, it didn’t look to me like he had any great speed to speak of. I saw an Abingdon MS game a year or two ago that had another Lucas RB (I’m not for sure though). That kid could fly.

I saw Adkins play as a Soph. He didn’t jump out at me as being elite or top notch. Having said that, he dominated as a Jr. last year, but in crunch time in a key district game he was pretty much shut out by a solid, but not spectacular, defense. In fairness, that might not all be on him. JHam is from his home town so you would think that would be a recruiting advantage.
