Well, like most people in the lounge.

I ALWAYS carry my tree book around with me and when I was in Sedona last fall hiked around Red Rocks State Park, saw one and wondered what it was and looked it up. I was surprised, never heard of it before, but then again I'm an east coaster.

So what's great is I went up and hiked Oak Creek Canyon and there was this group there examining a leaf and one woman said she thought it was a maple cuz it had the maple look to it with three pointed leaves. For some reason, maybe because I was wearing a green Cranberry Mtn cap and was carrying a real - Photo will appreciate this - camera they must have thought I looked like someone who would actually know and asked me. At first I didn't and looked over the leaf carefully which only improved the effect when I suddenly remembered those earlier trees "Well, I'm an east coast guy...oh wait a minute, it's a plane tree uh, a sycamore" in my best Euell Gibbons voice.

They probably still talk about me in hushed tones.
