exclude data points because it helps their argument. It makes those games a literal no-win situation. We don't get two wins for beating an opponent as an underdog. If you want to look solely at P5 or conference record that's fine. But just dismissing any win you don't deem "worthy" is a misguided attempt to skew the data. It's the same thing w/ people saying UVA "should" have beaten us two years in a row b/c they want to count the OT win as a loss. It doesn't really have anything to do with what I personally think we should aspire to or not... it's just the twisting of logic and facts to make a point.
