as has been said by many in the know, this is most likely the "Academic" sell job that the AU coaches put on DD. They certainly did not line our peer group national ratings up against Auburn's because we beat them in almost every survey, unless you break it down to a few select departments (which they may have done). In any event they put together a "package" that worked and he is using what they fed him...welcome to SEC recruiting style. I'm sure that UNC, FSU and Miami use similar tactics to flip kids.

I'm not familiar with how the APR thing is calculated (the math) but we are down below 100 right now. I can imagine that having 20% of the roster leave via the portal and other disciplinary actions hurt us bad in that regard.
