I agree and have my outside the box dream scenario ....

To get VT back, first let's have a great season this year that includes the defense showing it's new identity and it shows dominating potential and excitement. Second, Fuente & Cornelson (not that I dislike Fuente) get an opportunity elsewhere.

Here comes the VT must think outside the box and take a risky move to go anywhere great plan:

My hope is Justin Hamilton becomes the leader and charismatic personality that many have spoke of (there has to be a reason Dabo wanted him at Clemson) and we know he has the Beamer type love for Virginia Tech which is critical to having the influence needed to bring back the best in state players. Remember what Time Cop London did recruiting Virginia? I think Justin can bring that level of in state recruiting to VT and bring the results. Lock in the best in state talent and get them excited about VT again along with the recruits we are seeing from other states sprinkled in.

Justin finds an up and coming Offensive Coordinator preferably from Texas or Florida to run the offense.

I think Justin would open up the doors to the NFL players we have to capitalize on that resource and build excitement. He would also be open to the media and alumni base to generate more excitement among the fan base which I find to be lacking from Fuente. Just be more engaging to the fans and media that can promote and generate that exciting buzz again in the program and the state.

Justin, just like Time Cop, could majorly capitalize on being African American and relating to these recruits and their families to draw them into his vision of Virginia Tech. Instead of phony Franklin being the first African American College Head Coach to win a Natty, it's our own Justin Hamilton which would be so awesome.

Just a dream scenario but for VT to win a Natty in this landscape it has to be a bold and different route that explodes.
