In April Citi cut one of mine

from 30k to $200. Sent me a letter, which normally would have tossed without opening. It was one we don't use much, but it could have been a big problem if we were. No explanation either. Nothing on credit report. So we cancelled it and paid it off over the phone. A couple days later happened to check the app, and lo and behold still owed a couple $$ on it. Again lucky I checked it - if I hadn't I would have been racking up penalties and then interest on a card I thought was cancelled.

They wouldn't be trying to scam me would they?
