We like the deal.
Compared to the AAC deal, we're not responsible for the production costs and it will be on actual TV as opposed to behind a paywall. Being on national TV might also help with scheduling other marquee teams since they know they'll be getting exposure. It helps to raise the profile of the program as a whole while we try to right the abomination that has been our last 8 years or so of football. With basketball on the upswing, we might be able to use basketball scheduling to entice schools to schedule us in football.
Bottom line, we like the deal mostly for the exposure. The FB program needs some wins this year. There HAS to be progress on that front.
