he is a liability on the floor in most other aspects. He is too small to defend any guard over 6 feet tall, he isn't a great passer (at least yet), and he isn't a great at penetrating then kicking out or finishing. I imagine in high school he scored at the rim a lot more but now in college is struggling with bigger and stronger guys in the paint in college. I just don't see him starting over Bede this season, but hopefully he keeps providing an offensive spark off the bench. After this season Bede and Diarra are gone so my hope is that Cone can improve enough and be ready to be a solid 2 year starter at PG starting in 2021.
