It's a much different game today. Traveling and carrying the ball is very seldom called, but the players today are quicker, probably stronger and more athletic because of the equipment. Chris Smith was a great player to watch. His wing span for a 6'6" player was unusual as well as his strength. Check his rebound record, probably no one close. A lot of teams that were good in basketball we never hear about today like NYU, San Francisco, etc.
