If it is announced that Fall sports could take place, but without fans
then do you think the NCAA will give everyone the green light to resume? If so, then do you a majority or all of the DI-FBS schools would take the deal or decide to sit out the Fall season?
Yesterday I saw on an ESPN scroll that the 5 G5 conferences asked the NCAA for a temporary DI waiver for the next 4 years. At least 2 of things specified in the request was attendance requirements and number of sports requirements. Then I saw a report during this morning's news that suggested sports could resume, but without fans.
The pro sports could probably endure that scenario because their revenue isn't as depended upon ticket sales and concession sales. However, that isn't the case for college sports.
