100% disagree. He cared more about growing men than ball players.
He cared more about the little things, not the results. The positive results came by way of doing the little things. It just so happens that those little things also pertain to life in general and crossed over to learning to be a good man, a good husband, a good father, a good employee, etc. Most parents would love their son to be under his leadership for the lessons he teaches coinciding with basketball.
