Agreed...I have a 14-year old Troy Bilt push mower with a Honda engine.


Sounds like the same setup - automatic choke. I probably only change the oil every 3 years on average, and I've never had a problem with it not starting. It did leak oil for a while, but after running some high quality oil in it for a while, that seems to have stopped. I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of it. At this point, it seems like the engine is going to outlast the housing, as I'm starting to see some rust and flaking paint.
