Virus will run through everyone just more slowly with the social distancing and what not. Most will survive and then be immune at that point. We'll establish herd immunity eventually, albeit losing people along the way.

Harsh lesson that nature can put us in our place despite all the technical grandiosity of our day. And like others have said, this event is shining a big light on the fact that things we think are important aren't, and things we take for granted are much more important to us.
