Trey Wertz needs to be the guy

A transfer from Santa Clara, Wertz is originally from Charlotte, NC. He's 6'4/6'5 and played some point for Santa Clara. He is looking for a place where he can play the point to develop for the NBA. I truly believe this kid is a pro. Shot 40% from 3 last season as a Sophomore. Very good passer, very very good playmaker both off of ball screens and reading screens.

He is the only kid I've seen in the portal that would make me pause about needing 2 more posts.

Wertz is the real deal...
