I think your caution is close to correct, BUT the economic ramifications of continuing to curtail all large gatherings is huge.

Outdoor sports with spectators will be first to return. Thinking NHL/NBA is completely done unless they go with playoffs for TV without fans.

Football will be the absolute last to be delayed/cancelled. Too much GDP impact to shut it down too soon...not to say it can’t happen but football being shut down means we’re in a catastrophic worst case situation with the virus IMO
