Sounds like volleyball got a pretty good transfer today

Mara Perry, who originally committed to Radford, announced on Twitter that she "will follow my coaches and attend Virginia Tech."

She's a two-time AAU All American and a great student (3.8 GPA).

From the Radford Athletics website:

Perry started her high school career at Muncie Central High School then attended the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities. The honor student maintained a GPA of 3.8 and was a member of the National Junior Honors Society off the court. Perry helped her team to double-digit win seasons each year in addition to several conference championships. Some her accolades include being a two-time AAU All-American, two-time All-Conference selection, 2019 PAAC Player of the Year, 2019 Academic All-State, 2019 Second Team All-State, and named to the 2019 Shondell Invite All-Tournament team. Perry will conclude her high school career with 2,497 assists, 753 digs, 137 aces, and 289 kills in 318 sets played. She also played volleyball for Munciana Volleyball Club.

Welcome to Hokie Nation, Mara
