You make great points and we have no idea until 3 more years has passed. It was really hard to compare "potential" with "actual accomplishments". Ultimately, I decided that I really would pick my 1st team based on a finalist over a 2x or 3x AA.

Joey was incredible but he had a tendency to tighten up at NCAAs. I think Ventresca will open it up and break through. I went with potential here, but Ventresca will have to be a career 125# to do it.

Brascetta is actually a 3x AA with back to back 3rd and 4th place finishes at 157. Andonian will likely have two years at 157, but I am just not sure he will surpass what Nick did.....he would have to get to the finals. However, at 149 which is a weak spot for us I think he will roll next year and cement his spot at 149. Love me some Chishko too but the highest he got was 6th.

As far as Mekhi, he will be at 165 next year at least. Can he accomplish more after 2 years at 174 than he will at 165? Hard to do since he already won it all. I would keep him as my 165 pick.

And as much and dearly as I love McF, Epp has placed higher (3rd) at 174. Tough call here. I would be less surprised if someone like Ulrey took over and I almost picked him......flip of the coin here but Epp's run to 3rd was epic.

The hardest of all is picking Catka over Walz. Walz was a beast, but undersized and a victim of a tremendous HWT class. Catka has all the requisites - size, strength, and agility. I think he is at least a 3x AA and a finalist when said and done. And that would elevate him above Walz IMHO.
