Darn, was thinking about driving around to GMU.

my "other" alma mater.

Made it to GW yesterday which was fun seeing a couple a three towering home runs. Their pitcher was basically serving up batting practice with a few bounced in to the plate.

Amusing thing was when right handed batters foul tipped, they more often than not went over to fairly busy Foxhall road. 3rd or 4th inning one of the GW girls foul tipped wait for it the satisfying sound of a softball hitting car sheet metal.

Fun to see up here. Also fun to be the "bad boys, er bad girls" for once giving the other team bad dreams, although one of the guys there said they had played Oklahoma in a tourney earlier. Dilemma was that I would have liked to see more softball so was kinda rooting against the run-rule. VT took care of that in the 6th. Would/will be the same at GMU though, long drive, short game.
