So by your logic

Players could each live in a 3 million dollar mansion and have a lambo to drive. Helps recruit and win and get that TV deal right.
Meanwhile Clemson raises tuition for regular students is say 50K a year.
Oh I know completely unrelated buckets of money. No way one could benefit the other right?

Here's the thing. Schools don't need waterfalls to recruit or win or get TV deals. People will watch college football even if God forbid there are no waterfalls in locker rooms. In fact I would argue people like it more when that crap isn't in play. So your argument is invalid. Schools buy that sheite because its what allows them to out recruit ie buy players. Thats the mess this sport has become. It was NEVER supposed to be free enterprise or a pro sport. Thats why so many of us liked college better than pro. College football should go back to what its supposed to be about. Recruit to a school and a coach. Not toys.

PS do you also think its free enterprise when Clemson donates boat loads of cash to Newspring church who so graciously helps needy recruits? I mean you must be for that. Free enterprise and no regulations on spending right. Certainly thats fair and good for the sport right
