That can't happen because I would think that would force the schools


to eliminate the educational requirements. At least I am not sure labor laws would allow schools to require certain "employees" to attend class as a condition of employment and while other employees don't have that requirement. Once players aren't required to attend class, then a lot of people will lose interest in college athletics and schools will lose out on a good chunk of revenue stream.

One could say that schools have gotten themselves into this pickle by going down this path. Unfortunately, the school may have already gone down the path too far to reverse course or change paths.
