few pitchers are 250 inning pitchers. Every pitcher's orthopedic threshold is different but once you go above 250 the rate of breakdown increases geometrically. Whether Rochard can to every game or not is, in some way, not the issue anyway. Hewitt needs to be developed. Otherwise, you are one play away for disaster. Were you @ Clearwater? Did you see USC's Drotar's injury when covering the plate on passed ball? She hasn't played since. Hewitt needs to develop game-based confidence.
