Does this effect our seeding for the NCAA Tournament?

It most certainly will effect morale going in. Plan and simple we once again looked at the opponents record and thought we were going to automatically win. They did not learn from that UVA loss in regards to that. I really hope they get a decent matchup in the NCAA Tournament and can at least get a win instead of ending the season on a 3 game losing streak. They are really lucky they beat Duke at home or we would be in the WNIT again. That game literally saved them. I do not know how you don't show up for a tournament game, but then again it is what we seem to do. Need to break that cycle bad.

I mentioned earlier in another post to look at the instagram posts on the hokieswbb page. The only one that seemed to show any energy prior to that game in the huddle was Mabrey, everyone else seemed to have none and it showed. This game does not take away what we have done this season but it certainly is frustrating and we had more to play for then Wake did. They flat out had more heart, effort, and toughness than when we did. They need to get this team into practice and play them hard and tough and practice on finishing through contact. We were weak on both ends of the ball. This mentality we get in when we are facing opponents that are under us has to change. You are not owed a win just because you are the better team. Pitt and Clemson proved that yesterday.
