Ultimately frank Beamer’s fall. I would start in 1990 when for a week, UVa had the #1 team in the nation. The Hokies upset UVa that year. Over the next five years tech improves into a solid program.

From 95 to 99 beamer builds his the team through quality 757 recruits. 99 is the pinnacle. But for the next ten years, UVa is no competition for Beamer in the 757.

But despite the success, tech also stumbles. At the same time, the 757 is raided by many top programs, all the while va talent drops

Today, it is a different world then it was 20 years ago. The entire acc recruits the 757. There is no foreseeable time in the future in which tech dominates Virginia and 757 recruiting like it did from 1997 to 2007
