@Chris Coleman - 757 recent VT recruit history- other schools / VT choices?

Thanks for DE info/ 757 thoughts.

Is there a correlation between the past VT good players from 757 and VT’s recruiting dominance vs today where most top recruits from Virginia now go to other programs?

Were more recent VT recruits from the 757 that eventually didn’t pan out not the best VT choices because the better players already went to FSU, etc? Did VT take chances that they might not have elsewhere?

Over a number of years, it seemed to me that VT had a recruiting flow chart that included evaluating a player to see whether he had a major HS injury like a broken leg or torn ACL before recruiting him- many schools wouldn’t go after a formerly successful player post-injury.

“We’ve got a 50/50 chance this recruit will heal and become an amazing player for VT!” How often has that strategy work out historically?

Also wondering if the value of a successful recruit from the 757 is greater than the equivalent elsewhere, because it is a Virginia recruit and VT is a Virginia school.

Another recent competitor, Locksley seems to be succeeding at umd bringing in better recruits from across DMV and is a newer challenge to VT in the DC area. Just secured a 5* from DC.
