That will depend on if she still wants to focus on that

as her major. I don't know what she is currently enrolled in at Virginia Tech but sometimes transferring will put you behind academically because some schools do not accept certain classes. I know from experience. If the injury is that bad I don't think she will try to transfer to play somewhere unless she can get a scholarship from somewhere like Radford.
