Coach D'Amour said on yesterday's podcast that the Radford game might be moved to today because of weather. So, just in case, here's a few brief notes on the Highlanders:

Radford, which was picked fifth in the preseason Big South by the coaches, is 6-3 on the year, The Highlanders have wins over Siena (7-4 and 1-0), Morgan State (10-0), Norfolk State (5-3), Sacred Heart (11-5) and Youngstown State (4-0). Their losses were to Elon (5-1), Toledo (3-2) and Hartford (5-3).

The Highlanders are led at the plate by Junior Talia Douglas (.600), Senior Hunter Mundy (.429) and Junior Sidney Fisher (.394). Junior Jessee Marvin (1.40 ERA) has started (and completed) 4 games in the circle, and has thrown shutouts in two of them. She has struck out 22 in 25 innings.

Radfpord’s Massey ranking is 117 with a strength of schedule of 278. The Massey software predicts a 6-1 Hokies win, BUT there’s a reason you play the game.
