I don't disagree


However, the school (including coaches) may have different goals than the players. At least recruits didn't stop signing with Big Ten and PAC-12 schools because those conferences chose to not participate in the BCA. I believe the same could be true in the Playoff Era. At least some recruits may be more concern about making it to the NFL than participating in the Playoffs or NYD6. If that wasn't the case, then fans wouldn't see players choose to sit out Playoff or NYD6 games.
