Off Campus stadiums usually equal poor attendance, Miami, UConn, Pitt etc.


Alums and fans love being on the campus not at a stadium off campus. People go back to remember good times on campus, not just to watch a game.

All three of those are using the NFL culture to make these decisions. The college culture is a totally different animal and it will eat you up if you don't get it. The SEC and B1G get it in football. (See Minnesota recently for football) and the ACC gets it in Basketball.
