I lived up above what's now Sharkey's (then Argabrite's men's store)

from 1970 to 1972 or so, and left the Greek's Cellar one night and couldn't make it up the back stairs to my hovel of a room. Total distance was 100 feet. Sat on the curb, passed out, woke up hours later lying in the gutter. My finest hour. I can't believe to this day the local cops didn't see me and haul me in.
