HOA emails us a courtesy notice: Weeds in front yard gotta go. I've been waiting until it was warm enough and then to rain, then follow up with a weed and feed treatment like I do every February. Looks like I cut it too close to the clipboard lady's rounds.

Our landscaping guidelines clearly cite "weeds" in Section 12 as lawn conditions that may result in bannination, amputation or castration. Funny, tough, that they cite a Section 7 subparagraph which prohibits working on my automobile or other mechanical device in our front yard or driveway. Good thing they didn't cite me for Section 8 or I'd have to put on a nice dress and heels and go talk to them.
