The tallest midget still has to endure a Clemson thrashing.

First of all, I'll be completely shocked if VT finds itself in the ACC Championship game. With a lot of new coaches, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, I expect some struggles. Second of all, I would place VT's odds at beating another loaded Clemson team near one in 500. I know this sounds like a negative post to some, but I contend this is just being realistic about the current state of VT football under Fuente. I've seen no evidence to suggest that next season will be magically better. And that's OK with me. But I caution those who are peachy optimistic about great things being on the horizon: it's one thing to have a positive outlook, but don't let your happiness hinge on VT football (or any sport, for that matter). I did that for many years, and it was unhealthy.
