Alabama and Clemson trending down with their runs is astonishing!

It’s not really people born in the 90’s, it’s the ones born in the 2000’s. Their trend is to not go at all or if they do, leave earlier. Serious question, is it because the academic profile is much higher to get accepted than it was for the Baby Boomers at most if not all schools? (Definitely at UVA and at Tech) Thus, it’s more of what you saw happen in the Academic schools in the Northeast (where football was founded) and students have to study more. Therefore, it’s just not as important. Both Clemson and Alabama have seen admissions standards go up since their football run, Virginia Tech saw the same thing during the years they were winning Conference Championships in football. (Especially the Michael Vick years)

So ironically does football doing well raise admissions standards, but in the long run lower the interest of the students?
