They rushed several shots. I don't have video editing skills
to show you the proof of this. PJ rushed several. Feet not set right, fading to one side or the other. He had time to set his feet and shoot, but he hurried through his motions.
This team shot 4-25 from 3. That's not 100% because of UVA's defense. That's a lot of poor shooting.
Edit: Look at the first possession for each team. PJ gets the ball in the corner. He doesn't gather himself and go through the full motion of shooting. He catches it and tries to get it up quick with little jump and before the completely has the ball ready to shoot. Defender is not in his face, he has plenty of time to shoot, but rushes. The shot is, predictably, short.
On the other end, 13 gets the ball off a not-so-great pass, gathers, steps into his shot and drills it. Neither one of those had spectacular 3 pt defense on them, but they show the difference between a rushed shot and a good shot.
