With being overly cautious. True, he didnt say it was due to lawsuits. He did say we dont want parents staff and students getting injured. Some may say thats because we are "soft" nowadays. Some will call it common sense. I think its a legit question, "what changed?" Between years ago when a few inches was nothing and now when everything gets shut down due to a dusting....what has changed?

As for the specific teacher, she slipped in the parking lot. This was a teacher that....well...lets say was very lazy. (One of her "math lessons" each week was having her student clip her coupons. She also read the local newspaper with them as " current events".) But anyway, she complained all the time about how much she hurt (we all know those kind of people). She got a lot of paid time off....which she used to help her daughter run her Food Truck business. Does the school system sue her back and waste all that money to try and prove she wasnt hurt "that bad"? Or do they take the hit and consider it even? I would say it was better for students that she wasnt teaching. (But we wont get into the teachers union...thats a whole 'nother bag-o-worms)
