In 2029, reports start to surface that another power conference is interested in luring away Clemson, FSU, Miami, and maybe L'ville from the ACC even though the GoR doesn't expire until 2037.

The ACC tries to lure UConn and Villanova away from the Big East in an effort to strengthen basketball.

The ACC adds Denver as a lacrosse-only member.
