I think the tournament should be a round bracket number 2, 4, 8 or 16.


I think it is too much of an unfair advantage to make one team in the tournament have to play an additional game. And to give some other team a bye. If the league were small where everyone plays almost everyone else, like the NFL, then that's fine. But there are too many teams and the season too short in the NCAA to do that.

Also, if you have one team with a bye playing a team that had a tough play in game...it will increase the likelihood of a blowout...which I think we should try to avoid.

Let's say for this year there was a three-team bracket. OSU vs. CU. But LSU gets a bye. 4 is much better because, while obviously LSU drew a lighter opponent, at least they had to play a game. Carry this same logic out to a 5-team, or 6-team, or 7-team tournament.
