FYI Congress passed the Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961

which made the NFL exempt from antitrust laws and in return the NFL agreed to not schedule any regular season games on Fridays until after the regular season is over in HS football or on Saturdays until after the regular season is over in college football. It will be interesting to see if CBS can recoup the money it is losing by no longer televising SEC football games with a handful of extra NFL games at the end of the regular season.
