and the others is certainly how some will call it and they would not be wrong comparing the relative strengths at the Top of the other conferences. Also, the uneven slotting has had at least some effect in prior years as well. Having said that, I think Clemson winning it or being very competitive through the championship game coupled with a NY6 win to go with wins over Miss State, Michigan State, Kentucky and Arizona State would probably mute or at least minimize that line of reasoning in the current year. No way do I expect that to happen but, if it did I think the narrative is a lot less clear cut. The Miami loss today is bad on paper but, La.Tech is better than some people give credit. Eastern Michigan on top of the afternoon result would put the ACC further in the hole than an already lackluster regular season started them in.
