I used to be a purist about cooking bacon ONLY in a skillet...
I would scoff at the people on TV cooking bacon in the oven.... nose held in the air.
Then I tried the oven... and it was quicker and I could do other things. and it still crisped up nice and tasted the same.
So, I skillet when I have time. Oven when I don't. and I don't criticize anyone about their personal choices.
