Options like BYU, Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico, and Utah State are still there. I know that the Big XII looked at these in 2016 and decided not to do anything.

ESPN probably does want to keep presence in Colorado, and we know they like showing Boise State games. ESPN already has BYU. They could slide them in as a WVU replacement very easily.
